Six days of events on zero tolerance for corruption took place during Ghana’s National Anti-Corruption and Transparency Week, 4-9 December 2017.
To coincide with International Anti-Corruption Day celebrations, it was the occasion to review the level of corruption in Ghana and assess the implementation of measures to tackle it.
Coordinated by CHRAJ and various key partners, the opportunity was taken to present the progress of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan.
Under the theme ’NACAP: Strengthening Public, Private, and Civil Society Partnership in the Fight Against Corruption’, anti-corruption organisations used the week’s events to increase awareness and mobilisation. This was supported by wide national media coverage and online engagement including #GhanaSaysNo.
ARAP gave unconditional support the the development and organisation of the week, using the opportunity to also present and discuss its own programme’s implementation progress.
